Private Event - Mansaf - The National Dish of Jordan 🇯🇴

Exotic Dishes From Around the World! 🌍

Mansaf in Jordan is considered a piece of history, att, culture, and lifestyle. The amazing Mansaf is the National Dish of Jordan (or the dish of honor) and it's made of lamb cooked in Jameed, a sauce made of hard dried yogurt, served with bright yellow rice in big portions! It's so exotic and delicious, so if you like the bold taste of lamb you might want to try this out!

Big boneless chunks of lamb are first cooked with a mix of aromatic spices like cardamom, allspice, white pepper and bay leaves until so tender, then dipped in a hot yogurt sauce and cooked again for few minutes until flavors are well blended.

Served over a side of  yellow turmeric rice, so healthy, fluffy and cheerful.

Garnished with toasted almond slices for a nice nutty flavor, and fresh parsley leaves.

Traditionally it’s eaten with wedges of fresh onions… So healthy!

For dessert, we will be making Walnut Baklava, basically it is layers of phyllo pastry and crushed walnuts drenched in sugar syrup, cinnamon and butter then baked to perfect crispiness! What's not to like... Yum!
